He started his career with Cameron Partners and then spent a decade with Rothschild & Co (our global alliance partner) in London, before returning to Cameron Partners in 2020.

Stephen has extensive expertise advising clients across a broad range of New Zealand and international transactions. During his time at Rothschild & Co, he advised on numerous high profile transactions across the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Mandates he worked on ranged across M&A, capital raisings, IPOs and restructurings. 

Stephen has particularly strong experience in the consumer and technology sectors and has worked frequently with international global private equity firms. For the last two years at Rothschild & Co he co-led the management of Rothschild and Co’s London Consumer, Retail and Leisure Group. Stephen holds a BCA from Victoria University of Wellington. 

 After years of living in London, Stephen’s enjoying the capital’s fresh air and rediscovering the city with his young family.
