James has advised clients on M&A transactions, capital raising and corporate advisory mandates across a wide range of sectors. Prior to joining Cameron Partners, James worked as an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley. James holds a Bachelor of Economics, majoring in Finance, from Peking University and a Master of Finance from Tsinghua University. 

James is fluent in Mandarin and conversational in Japanese. In his free time he enjoys reading, sports, and exploring Auckland city after returning in 2024.
