Ross joined Cameron Partners in 2006 and has over 20 years of investment banking experience in New Zealand and internationally.  Ross advises on the full range of merger and acquisitions transactions and also leads many of Cameron Partners equity capital markets mandates.  These include IPOs and other listed and unlisted capital raisings.  Ross has completed over 80 successful transactions over the course of his career.

Prior to Cameron Partners, Ross was a senior investment banker in London with an independent investment bank, Close Brothers Corporate Finance, where he worked for nine years.   Prior to Cameron Partners and Close Brothers, Ross spent six years with Deloitte in Wellington, Singapore, San Francisco, and London. Ross is a qualified chartered accountant and has a BCA from Victoria University of Wellington.

  • Serko on its strategic placement to Booking.com, as a cornerstone shareholder and partner
  • Mt Difficulty Wines on its sale to Foley Family Wines
  • Sileni Wine Estates on its sale to Booster
  • WSP (Canada) on its successful takeover offer of Opus International Consultants for NZ$263 million
  • New Zealand Oil & Gas on its response to the partial takeover offer from Zeta Energy and the recommended offer from O.G. Oil & Gas (Israel)
  • TeamTalk on its successful response to the Spark hostile takeover offer
  • Quadrant Private Equity on acquiring a 40% stake in Healthcare of NZ Holdings Limited
  • New Zealand Superannuation Fund on acquiring a 35% stake in Datacom Group for NZ$141 million
  • Skeggs Group on the sale of Pacifica Seafoods to Sanford
  • Serko on its IPO, five subsequent capital raisings and acquisitions
  • Xero on its IPO and two subsequent capital raisings
